We ask: any tips for a good exhibition?

Our question: if you could give each student one piece of advice when planning their graduation exhibition – either what they should DO or what they ought to AVOID – what would it be?

Sharon Kivland, artist, writer, and researcher says:

No fishing wire
No grass
No latex
No soil
No dolls
No primal screaming (and lately I have become resistant to tears)
No spelling mistakes
No menstrual blood (though I may be having a flashback)
No beanbags (unless there are really long videos)
Nothing that requires the taking off of shoes, especially if beanbags also feature
No artists’ statements

entertaining blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to browse it all at the minute but I have bookmarked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the awesome job.
